Katia Jones is the Development Manager for the Future of Arizona where she is responsible for the internal processes and procedures for CFA’s development efforts, such as grants and donor database management systems. She also works in tandem with CFA Senior Leadership on donor identification and cultivation efforts. Prior to her role at CFA, Katia served the Arizona community within the nonprofit sector for the last 17 years.
Katia has a master’s degree in business from Arizona State University's W.P. Carey School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from University of Georgia. Along with serving as a board member for the Arizona Justice Project, she holds strong to her passion for community as a 19-year active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., an active alum with Valley Leadership, and a member and volunteer for several other community groups.
Katia enjoys spending time with her son and family. She considers herself a local “foodie” and enjoys exploring the new local food fare Arizona has to offer. When she's not with family, you will find her at live cultural events (concerts and musicals) and cheering on the Georgia Bulldawgs during college football season.
