The Arizona Justice Project has helped to free 28 people since its founding in 1998.

The Arizona Justice Project receives, on average, 400 requests for assistance each year.

The Arizona Justice Project has represented more than 50 people in post-conviction relief proceedings or before the Arizona Board of Executive Clemency.

In 2019, the Arizona Justice Project reviewed 150 cases and sent over 700 letters in response to requests for help. Our team of staff and students made over 30 legal visits to meet with clients on their cases. We  worked to have evidence released for forensic examination in seven different cases. We had nine cases in litigation and 12 in active investigation.
