Dear Friends,
The Justice Project is proud to announce that it is partnering with Jazz for Peace to host a benefit concert this spring to raise awareness and funds for The Project. The Jazz for Peace benefit concert series has raised funds and awareness for over 300 non-profit organizations and garnered support and praise from distinguished Americans such as Senator John McCain, Congressman Dennis Kucinich, and many more, along with music lovers and humanitarians worldwide of all ages and nationalities! Please visit their web site, www.jazzforpeace.org, for more information.
The Justice Project has helped thousands of the indigent Arizona inmates with claims of innocence or manifest injustice since its inception in 1998. Due to the state of the economy, The Project is having difficulty obtaining funding for current programs and innovative initiatives. Through the benefit concert The Project will be able to recover shortfalls in the budget and retain its current staff.
The Arizona Justice Project Benefit Concert will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2009 in Scottsdale, Arizona at Eddie's House. The Justice Project would like to ask you to help support this event by purchasing (or sponsoring) a pair of tickets at $35 each.
Your tickets will be held in your name at the door. If you have any questions please email us at info@azjusticeproject.org or call Rochelle Belnap at (480) 255-4498.
Sincerely,
The Arizona Justice Project
