We will use your donation to pay professionals who help us investigate cases, generate greater awareness of our important work, and to advocate for policy reform to reduce the risk of wrongful convictions in the future.

Based on the lessons we’ve been continually learning since we started The Justice Department in 1998, we work hard to improve the standards, oversight and funding of our crime labs; the quality of indigent defense; the way eyewitnesses are educated, the way confessions are obtained, and more.
